Our Duty

"If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing."
-first Corinthians thirteen : three
::::
"It is not duty for duty's sake,
 or right for right's sake.
It is not a resolute abandoning of one's own good
with a view solely to the solely to the good of the other person.
It is first a deeply satisfying experience of the fullness of God's grace,
& then a double satisfying experience of extending this joy
in God to another person."

We Shall See..

Few days back I realized I just might be losing more of my dear friends.
While one already resides on the other side of the country, I have three others that I often kick it with..
but that may be ending at the year of the next. Woh, wee.
All of them moving on..(or, possibly at least)...One springing from junior college to the greater, which is a few hours from here. She is going to translate from a 2-minute bike ride away, to a 2-hour train ride. But she will be worth it, she is. What happens...we shall see.
Another amigo is applying but to one college, and a swell one at that. While the chances are viewed to be unlikely, I feel like God may influence the outcome of what was not expected. Not only to provide a spiffy journey for my friend, but to really show that He is in control. Totally solid. But again, we shall see.
The last of them, while I am not as "close" with them as others, he kind of is a glue that held the four us, as well.. the four of us. He leaves in mid-January, off to the small clusters of land, and later on in the year to a S.E. Asian island. Greatly stoked for what is to be introduced to him, and how his faith & really everything will be strengthened and influenced. How he returns, possibly changed or nay, we shall see.
I'll be praying for them all. & I respect them tremendously.
Their good company[to say the least].

Not sure what to be said from here, on this splurt.
Ooh, I know a swell way to conclude..

"--the life was made manifest, and we have seen it, and testify to it and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and was made manifest to us--that which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ. And we are writing these things so that our joy may be complete." ___first John one : two - four.
